We believe that garment designing can provide us a new
source of competitive advantage. This will benefit all
constituents of the Nepali textile, apparel and fashion
industry.
Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week is the country’s largest
glamour & lifestyle event.
We are committed to make the Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week
a truly world class event. We have been planning a host
of initiatives towards this and having a partner of the
stature of Sunsilk will only go to further this.
The recent demand in designer clothes instead of
ready-made garments can be fulfilled by affordable ready
to wear clothing, starting from Rs 500/-. No reason we
are seeing and witnessing a boom in the retail sector
and the consumption to match it.
The Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week 2006 will focus on the
Business of Fashion and will showcase two collections:-
Pret – a – Porter (ready – to –wear) Diffusion (a line
between ready - to - wear and trousseau /couture) i.e.
Nepali – Western & Indo - Western.

During the Fashion Week besides fashion shows we will
have 32 stalls for exhibition having Designer Dresses,
Jewelry, Cosmetics, Leather Goods & Fashion Accessories,
Exhibition will be opened from 11 am to 8.30 pm daily
for visitors. Entrance will be free.
Objective of SNFW 2006 is to create business
relationships and to facilitate a dialogue between
designers, trade buyers & media. Theme of the SUNSILK
NEPAL FASHION WEEK 2006 is “AFFORDABLE FASHION.” |
